Table of Contents Issue 5 (May/Jun 2006) Garden Issue |
Welcome friends, this issue is just bursting with delightful growing goodies from the garden. In my garden the daffodils, tulips, crocus, grape and regular hyacinths are putting in a strong appearance. All the glorious colors of spring have inspired our designers. Terri Ann Fox of Foxden Designs shares her Yummy Berries that look good enough to eat. Sandra D. Halpenny teaches us how to create the 5 petal nasturtium blooms from her prize winning entry in the Flower Panel contest. Susan Mandel has stitched up gorgeous 3-D Fuchsia blooms to dangle from a necklace or earrings. To watch over them all I have created a pair of Garden Fairies Crystal drops you can hang in the garden or a sunny window. |

Fabulous Florals from Design Originals OK, so this one's not that new, it came out in 2005, but with all the springtime weddings, proms, and formals I thought it would be fun to feature these light and airy flower creations. Chain Stä Making chain bracelets with lots of charms, beads, or other decorations can be tricky when the chain rolls over or twists as you work. This clever station has sturdy pegs at the top to loop your chain rings over or secure the chain in the strong spring clamps. There's a handy tray in the base and a ruler along the front. It's like having an extra pair of hands! Web site: www.chainsta.com email: chainsta@chainsta.com |
